How to Register for Tournaments

Before you can begin, you will need to have an account on this website. If you don't know how to do that, click here learn about membership.

 

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click the link on the left that says "Tournament Registration".
  3. You will then see a page that looks like this:
  4. Click on the register button next to the tournament for which you'd like to register.
  5. Fill out the form:
    1. Select an event.
      You will then see additional information about the event, including cost and drop deadline.
    2. If you are registering for a partner event, such as PF or Duo, chose your partner from the list.
    3. Fill in your judge information.
    4. If the tournament asks for a liabilty form, attach a scanned copy of it.
    5. Fill in any additional fields on the registration form.

    Due to a bug, the uploader can only accept PDF files ≤1 mb

    If you took a picture of the form, you can convert it to PDF using the JPG to PDF service.

    If your PDF is too big, try running it through Small PDF's Compression tool.

  6. Click the checkbox that says you agree to the registration policies.
  7. Click "Register for this tournament".

 

DOUBLE ENTRY

If you wish to enter a more than one event, you will need to repeat this process for each event.

 

PARTNER EVENTS

If you registered for a partner event, your parter will receive an email saying you have done so. Your partner must accept the request before the registraion can be approved.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click the link on the left that says "Tournament Registration".
  3. In the lower section of the page, you will then see a section that looks like this:
  4. Click the "View" button next to the tournament you need to confirm.
  5. Read over the registration to make sure it is correct.
  6. Click the checkbox that says you agree to the registration policies.
  7. Click "Accept Request".

 

GETTING YOUR REGISTRATION APPROVED

BEFORE THE DROP DEADLINE, you must do the following:

  1. If you've not yet done so, turn in your membership forms (team standards agreement and emergency contact form).
  2. Turn in the tournament registration fee.
    Note: You can pre-pay for registration by turning in a check before registration. We highly reccomend this, because you will not have to worry about waiting until the next lab or team meeting to turn in your check. (At some point in the future this will become mandatory).
  3. For partner events: Your partner must accept the partner request.

If you do not do these steps before the drop deadline, you may be removed from the tournament.

Your registration will then be sent to your coach for approval. Your coach will approve the entry once the following are true:

  1. You have been entered on Tabroom (or wherever the tournament signups are run).
  2. The tournament has moved you from the waitlist.

 

 

VIEWING YOUR ENTRY STATUS

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click the link on the left that says "Tournament Registration".
  3. In the lower section of the page, you will then see a section that looks like this:
  4. You can then see the status of all your entries.

 

DROPPING YOUR ENTRY

The process for dropping your entries is very simple. Please make sure you do this before the drop deadline — drops after this may be charged an additional fee.

  1. Do the steps above to view your entries.
  2. Click the "View" button next to the entry you need to drop.
  3. Click the huge red button at the bottom that says "Drop tournament"
